Our Mission
Our mission is to promote positive youth mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and increase access to quality care. We also seek to support mental health professionals with the tools they need to create lasting change in children's lives, such as printable SEL worksheets, tips, and other child therapy resources. Together, we advance child mental health, one resource at a time.
Our Vision
We envision a community where misconceptions about youth mental health are challenged, access to services is improved, and mental health professionals are empowered with resources. We see a future where children are empowered and equipped with the tools to lead successful lives.
About the founder
Our Approach
Welcome! I’m Hala Mallah, LMSW-C, a clinical social worker with over seven years of experience in nonprofit work with children.
I’ve always been passionate about youth mental health and helping kids feel heard, supported, and empowered. I love connecting with children and giving them the tools to navigate their emotions with confidence and resilience. At the same time, I know how important it is to support the therapists and mental health professionals who work with them every day.
That’s why I started Kids Therapy Corner. It was built out of a deep commitment to helping children by providing resources for the professionals who support them. My goal is to strengthen child therapy practices by creating accessible, high-quality tools that therapists, counselors, and other mental health professionals can use to make a real difference in kids’ lives.
Through this platform, I hope to spread awareness about youth mental health and offer printable SEL worksheets, child therapy worksheets, and other resources that professionals may need.
